Sapphic Pride is born out of Lesbian Visibility Day, but we’re throwing the doors wide open — because visibility is better when it’s shared✨
This event centres sapphic culture and the experiences of those who’ve historically been pushed to the margins. If you’ve ever felt like queer spaces weren’t quite built for you, this one is. A quick note on gender: there is zero gender policing here. We use an expansive definition of “sapphic” — broadly, if this space resonates with you, you belong in it. Trans people of all kinds are not just welcome — you are essential. Transfemmes, transmascs, non-binary folks, whether you’re femme, masc, androgynous, or somewhere entirely on your own: come through.
What we won’t welcome is bigotry — of any flavour, directed at any member of our community. If showing up for the most marginalised queers in the room isn’t your vibe, this might not be your event. If it is? We can’t wait to celebrate this day with you! 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
